Video of Sen. Deb Fischer’s husband’s refusal to shake Vice President Kamala Harris’ hand at the senators’ swearing in ceremony on Friday has gone viral.

“OUCH: Bruce Fischer, the husband of Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer, does not shake Kamala Harris’ hand, leaving her flustered in a painfully awkward moment,” wrote the Daily Caller in a post on X.

Wrote author Don Winslow: “It’s disgraceful that Bruce Fischer, husband to incoming GOP Senator Deb Fischer cannot muster a few seconds of class to shake the hands of @VPKamala Harris. States. IMO, only thing Bruce showed here was that pigs don’t only live on farms. He is a pig.”
