Trump Takes Oath of Office

Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, four years after his first term ended.

Trump took the oath of office in the Capitol Rotunda due to frigid weather that forced the ceremony indoors. He was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts.

Vice President JD Vance was sworn in by Justice Brett Kavanaugh before Trump took the oath.
