President-elect Donald Trump’s mandate is Americans’ safety, Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism for the incoming Trump administration, told Newsmax Wednesday.

Finding out where everyone in the U.S. on the terrorist watch list is “will be the primary task for our team under Mike Waltz, the incoming national security adviser, because President Trump has one mandate above all else, and that is to make sure that all Americans are safe,” Gorka said on “Finnerty.”

“What about the ones that they don’t know are in the country? The official figures are more than 8 million illegals that have been let into the United States in the last four years, and you can easily double that number with the so-called got-aways,” he said.
