The holiday season is about setting aside differences and coming together, Jackson Lahmeyer, the pastor at Sheridan Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, told Newsmax on Wednesday.

Sharing with “American Agenda” his Christmas message, Lahmeyer said that while “love, joy, and peace” are all part of the holiday, this Christmas season has been fraught with division. But setting aside differences is what the holiday is all about, he said.

“You know, Americans in particular are excited about the future. Our best days are ahead of us, not behind us,” Lahmeyer said.
