California Gov. Gavin Newsom is pushing a program that is “very progressive, anti-American, anti-California, and definitely anti-Huntington Beach,” says Huntington Beach Mayor Pat Burns.

“That guy is so shameful. … He’s just a poor representative. He’s out to push his agenda rather than community service,” Burns said Saturday during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Saturday Agenda.”

“He’s self-service and I think he’s a tyrant. And he’s sitting there saying, ‘We need housing. We have a shortage of housing, and we have a budget deficit.’ But yet he lets in a bunch of illegal aliens, open border almost. And he’s giving them free food, free housing, free phones and medical.
