Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., told Newsmax on Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump’s call for a single reconciliation bill “is the way to go” but noted that “there are advantages to a two-bill system.”

Carter was asked on “Wake Up America” about Trump’s call for a single bill that would enact his policies on energy and the border as well as extend the 2017 tax cuts he championed.

“I think there are good points on both sides, and the president has actually wavered a little bit on this here in the last couple of days,” Carter said.
