The mother of Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old Maryland mother allegedly slain by an illegal immigrant last year, told lawmakers Wednesday that neither President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris have expressed remorse over the incident.

“Since we learned that it was an illegal immigrant that they’ve accused of murdering her, the Biden-Harris administration has not reached out to our family to offer condolences,” Patty Morin testified on Capitol Hill.

“They say the borders are safe. We live 1,800 miles away from the southern border. They are not safe,” she said.
